The Milan Gurović Basketball Academy is a place where the love of basketball comes together with top knowledge and experience.

We were founded in 2021 with the aim of developing young talents, to whom we offer more than just training – we give them the opportunity to become top basketball players, but also people with strong character, capable of facing challenges both on and off the court.

The founder of our academy is Milan Gurović, a famous Serbian basketball player.

During his rich playing career, Gurović won the European and World Championships with the Yugoslav national team.

At the club level, he played for Peristeri, Barcelona, ​​AEK, Trieste, Unicaja, Vojvodina, Partizan, Juventud, Crvena zvezda, Prokom and Galatasaray. With Barcelona he was the champion of Spain and winner of the FIBA ​​Korac Cup, with Zvezda he won the Korac Cup, while Prokom led to the title in Poland.

When it comes to individual awards, he was the best player and scorer of the ABA League, the best player of the Serbian Super League and the best scorer of the Eurocup.

He was decorated with an excellent three-point shot, a fight to the last atom of strength and a winning mentality that he now wants to instill in the students of his academy through daily work and conversation.

The mission of our academy is to give children of all ages the opportunity to develop their basketball skills through quality training, dedication and teamwork.

We are committed to creating a positive environment where players will not only step towards their sporting goals, but also develop character, self-discipline and leadership. We strive to shape future basketball players, but also responsible and persistent individuals, ready to contribute to the community through sport and beyond.

Through the professional work of our coaches and mentors, led by Milan Gurović, we provide young people with the basis for top results, regardless of their current level of knowledge and experience.

Our mission is to become a recognized leader in the education and development of young basketball players in the region, offering them a chance to progress and realize their dreams on the field.

At the Gurović Academy, we work on all segments of basketball – from the fundamentals of the hoop game to the most complex technical and tactical exercises.

The trainings are adapted to different ages and levels of knowledge, and the work with the participants includes all aspects of the game: technique, physical preparation, tactics, but also mental strength, which is the key to success at a high level.

The coaches and mentors at the Academy are not only basketball experts. They have the roles of motivators and psychologists, who know how to recognize potential and direct it to the top.

The students of our academy have a unique chance to compete with rivals of all ages and learned in practice training and matches throughout the year.

From the U12 selection to the senior level, our teams play in different leagues under the name KK Real Beograd.

Quality work brought top results. Of particular note is our junior team, which plays the strongest rank and is among the best in the country.
