The junior selection of KK Real Beograd achieved great success and won placement in the Unified Junior League of Serbia, the highest ranking competition in the country! Vujadin Ćakić’s team finished the qualifying tournament in Niš with maximum performance, defeating KK Dunav 2014, KK Metalac Valjevo and home team KK Niš.

Three games, three victories and a well-deserved place among the best junior teams in Serbia! Real’s young basketball players showed quality, character and team spirit, confirming that they are ready for the biggest challenges in domestic junior basketball.

Especially impressive was the victory against Metalac from Valjevo, a team made up of the best juniors of Partizan, among whom there were also three members of the Serbian national team, winners of European gold and world silver in the U18 competition.

Real completely outplayed their favored rival, at one point had as much as 35 points advantage and celebrated with a score of 90:60, thus securing placement in the elite rank already after the second round.

By winning against the home side KK Nis in the last round, the team confirmed its dominance and finished the tournament without defeat.

This result has a special significance for KK Real Beograd, which will play for the second time in the last three years in the company of the best junior teams in Serbia.

The success is all the greater when it is known that the club was founded only five years ago, on the initiative of the famous Serbian basketball players Milan Gurović and Jovan Obradović.

Two placements in the highest rank of the junior competition in just three years are confirmation of serious and dedicated work, clear vision and continuous development of young players.

Real’s juniors now face new challenges, and the club has once again shown that it belongs among the best!
