The “Milan Gurović” summer basketball camp ended at the Omni Center in Valjevo, where this year it gathered 110 boys and girls from Serbia, the region and numerous countries around the world.

During seven days, young basketball players had the opportunity to work on improving individual technique, shooting, physical abilities and various elements of the game, with a special emphasis on discipline, team spirit and the development of sports habits.

This year’s edition once again confirmed the international character of the camp. In addition to participants from Serbia and the countries of the region, children from Germany, Russia, Portugal, Greece and other countries also arrived in Valjevo, who shared the field, training and love for basketball for seven days.

The camp ended with the Skills Challenge, a sort of final test of everything the participants had worked on during the previous days. The young basketball players showed speed, technique, accuracy in shooting and handling the ball, and the final competition brought what marked the whole week – great competitive spirit and desire to prove themselves.

At the end of the competitive part, a solemn ceremony followed, where participants were awarded diplomas, while the most successful in the final challenges were awarded with trophies.

The celebrated Serbian national team member Milan Gurović pointed out that the result was not the only measure of the camp’s success, but above all the progress the children made during the seven days of work.

“When you see 110 children from Serbia, regions and different parts of the world in one place, who get up for seven days with the desire to train and be better than the day before, then you know you have done the right thing. Of course we want them to improve in shooting, technique, speed and all basketball elements, but it is even more important for us that they learn how important work, discipline and attitude towards teammates are. The Skills Challenge was a great way to end the camp, to show what they have learned, to compete and enjoy themselves.” “I am proud of every child who was with us in Valjevo and I hope that, apart from new basketball skills, they will take away friendships and memories that will last a long time,” said Gurović.

The summer camp “Milan Gurović” was held for the third year in a row in Valjevo, and the increasing number of participants from abroad confirms the organizers’ ambition for the camp to continue growing and become a traditional gathering place for young basketball talents from Serbia and the world.

The next camp is planned for January 2027.

The camp, named after the famous Serbian national team member Milan Gurović, gathered 110 boys and girls, and is slowly but surely taking on an international character.

This summer, in addition to children from Serbia and the region, the participants include young basketball players from Greece, France, Russia, Germany, Canada and other countries.

During their stay in Valjevo, the participants will have the opportunity to work on basketball technique and improvement of the game through daily training sessions with expert coaches from the Milan Gurović Academy, but also to learn about discipline, team spirit and attitude towards sports.

– The greatest pleasure is seeing over 100 children who love basketball in one place – with a ball in their hands and a great desire to progress. I am especially glad that boys and girls come to us not only from Serbia and the region, but also from numerous countries around the world. We want them to leave here as better basketball players, but also to make friends and memories that they will remember for a long time – said Milan Gurović at the opening of the camp.

Another edition of the Milan Gurović shooting camp was successfully brought to an end, after seven days of intensive work, learning and improving shooting skills in the hall of the legendary basketball player’s academy.

Young basketball players had the opportunity to train according to the program designed by the famous Serbian national team member Milan Gurović, with a special focus on shooting technique, individual development, proper work habits and building a winning mentality.

During the camp, the participants went through specific training, individual corrections and practical exercises every day that will help them improve their game and transfer the acquired knowledge to the field during the upcoming season.

Gurović expressed his satisfaction with the efforts of all participants, as well as his gratitude to the parents for their trust.

“It gives us great pleasure that year after year we gather young basketball players eager to work and progress. Their energy and dedication confirm that quality is built with daily effort and discipline,” said Milan Gurović.

After the shooting camp, preparations for the next event are already underway.

Milan Gurović’s summer camp will be held from August 17 to 24 at the Omni Center in Valjevo, where participants can expect seven days of excellent training, work with expert coaches, competitions and content that will contribute to their basketball and personal development.

After five years in KK Real Beograd, the moment has come to say goodbye to our Vuk Petrović.

Vuk left a deep mark in our club – first as a player, and then as a coach of the junior and senior teams, with his work, energy, commitment and attitude towards each player.

Along with our club, Vuk also grew. As Real progressed from year to year, so did he – from a player to a successful coach, building his name through work, dedication and results. His development was inextricably linked to the development of the club, which is why we are especially proud of everything he has achieved as part of our family.

He completed his mission at Real in the best possible way. In the season behind us, he led the juniors to the title of champion of the Quality League of Belgrade, and then of the Region of Serbia.

The trophies will remain inscribed in the club’s history, but what we will remember him for the most are the people he shaped, the generations he was a role model for, and the values ​​he transmitted on and off the field every day.

The time has come for a new challenge and step forward in your career, which we firmly believe will be filled with great success.

The shooting camp Milan Gurović started with an afternoon training session on Monday, June 22, in the hall of the famous Serbian national team player in Surčin.

The seven-day camp brought together boys and girls of different ages from Serbia and the region, with a common goal – improving basketball skills through work with top coaches and gaining new experiences on and off the court.

A special value to the camp is given by the fact that Milan Gurović personally works with the participants every day, who passes on his rich playing experience to the younger generations. In his work with children, he is assisted by an expert team of trainers from the Milan Gurović Academy, who, through an individual approach and carefully designed trainings, strive to help each participant achieve their full potential.

During the next seven days, the participants can expect intensive training, individual work on shooting technique, competitions, educational content and socializing with one of the best shooters that Serbian basketball has had.

“Every year, I am especially happy when I see children who want to work, progress and learn. Basketball is not only a sport, but a school of life that teaches discipline, work and togetherness. The most important thing for me is that the children leave the camp richer in new knowledge, self-confidence and friendships. If we motivate them to love basketball even more and continue to work on themselves, then we have fulfilled our goal,” said Gurović.

Đorđe was born in 1994. He has a wealth of coaching experience in working with younger teams, and he arrives at Real after many years of involvement in Crvena Zvezda.

We believe that with his knowledge, energy and character, he will contribute to the further development of our basketball school and pioneering team.

– It is a great honor for me to become part of KK Real Beograd. The club has a clear vision, an excellent work program with younger selections and the ambition to constantly improve. Due to the huge interest in our summer camp in Valjevo and the large number of messages we receive every day, we are very pleased to organize the shooting camp “Milan Gurović” in Belgrade!

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for all talented boys and girls to improve their game, perfect their shooting technique and train according to the methods of one of the best shooters that our basketball has had.

The camp is intended for players between the ages of 7 and 18 and is focused on individual development, shooting technique, proper movement mechanics, self-confidence and modern basketball principles.

The camp will be held in the “Milan Gurović” Hall in Surčin, in the period from June 22 to 29, 2026.

Participants expect two training sessions a day, work in professional conditions, an individual approach to each player, as well as a focus on the development of shooting technique and basketball fundamentals.

The camp is divided into two programs:

Full program: trainings, accommodation, food – 400 euros.
Training program: only trainings – 300 euros.

The cadet selection of KK Real Beograd continued the club’s trophy streak and won the Final Four Region of the Quality League of Serbia, thus confirming the dominance of our generation in domestic basketball. After the title in the Quality League of Belgrade, our cadets reached the title of champion of Serbia!

In the final tournament, Real demonstrated quality, character and a huge difference on the pitch.

In the semi-final, the Sloga team from Kraljevo was defeated with a score of 90:66, while in the grand final, our team defeated Konstantin from Niš with a dominant game with a score of 120:70 and fully deservedly lifted the cup intended for the best team in Serbia.

The award for MVP of the final tournament went to Price Chijiyoke, who averaged 18 points, 12.5 rebounds and an index of 28.

This generation once again showed talent, togetherness and a winning mentality, but also confirmed the quality of work of KK Real Beograd in the younger categories. After the success of the junior selection, the cadets also brought a new big trophy to the club’s showcases.

At the final tournament, she recorded all three victories – against FMP (86:68), Beovuk (102:66) and Mladost Veba (80:78) – and won the title!

With that, our cadets continued their junior trophy path and confirmed Real’s complete dominance at the Belgrade level.

Now they are waiting for the F4 Region of the quality league of Serbia where, like the juniors, they can reach the status of the best team in Serbia in the mentioned rank.
